My first “Five for Friday”, November 3, 2017

Here are five of the bullets I’d like to share with you this week. I hope they benefit you and add value to your personal growth and insights like they did me. Here we go, and have a great week to come!

  1. Neural Performance
  2. Lead to Win, new podcast by Michael Hyatt
  3. Masculinity and Masks
  4. Goggins and Ownership – Tom Bilyeu
  5. All Winners are Trackers – Darren Hardy

Neural performance. Everyone who is measuring success is employing brain science to increase performance. Check out the Science of Success podcast here.

Lead to Win and Awareness.Almost in theme with neural performance is a recurring theme with most of the leaders I study, and that is “awareness”, specifically being self-aware. @GaryVee and @MichaelHyatt talk about this being being one of the ultimate keys to your success. I’m super excited to begin listening to Michael Hyatt’s new podcast, Lead to Win!

The Masks of Masculinity by @LewisHowes is definitely making the circuit recently and I’m including a couple podcast links I think were the best, Tony Robbins and Entrepreneur On Fire. Lewis reveals his past of being molested as a child and dives into his research on the different masks of masculinity people wear to cope with life, as well as how to thrive personally and professionally “in service of mankind”.

The MindOwnership – and “Its all your fault!” from @TomBilyeu. I was listening to the Zig Ziglar podcast and struck by Tom’s answer to the question, “so what’s got you thinking lately?” He replied, “David Goggins” and I just had to find the video he referenced and watch it. I listened to all 53 minutes while hiking, and then again with my wife and son at home because his story is so incredible. You can watch the YouTube video here (Rated R for Language).

    “All Winners are Trackers”

    The Compound Effect, by @DarrenHardy

    #Choices #Habits

What are you tracking to improve? Measuring to manage?

    Move 1% or 2mm…

Small actions compound to enormous results  – both positively and negatively. Choose wisely 🙂
