Blessing Your Family, Generosity
Welcome to Day 13 of our Journey through “31 Days to Bless Your Family”!
Today’s theme is Generosity, our follow up to Gratefulness in the “Sweetness Cycle” in our journey to Bless Your Family.
Yesterday I shared that my wife and I have been grateful for each other, and that we are both givers which has created a continuous cycle of sweetness in our marriage. The more we appreciate each other, the more gracious and generous we are with each other, which fuels our gratitude and so on.

The Sweetness Cycle Makes a Big Difference
When you are filled with loving thankfulness and abundance in your marriage and family relationships it makes it easier, more natural, to give some slack, some grace to them. When you enter into the “Sweetness Cycle” it makes it easier to do, to act, to practice all the steps in our “31 Days to Bless Your Family” series. Try it. Try to level up your existing expressions of Gratefulness and Generosity toward your family and see how much difference it makes.
Even if you are experiencing distance in your most important relationships this may still begin making the difference your family needs to eventually experience the blessing your heart desires for them to receive. This may mean that you are generously giving them space and patience, as well as gentleness in a refrain from communication styles that have not served you or them well in the past.
As in past posts, this topic today cannot do much on its own, but you can get local, and if needed professional help, as well as plug into a positive community of support to help you make meaningful, lasting and healing change. You can be the difference your family needs. Just one step at a time, have faith, and be steadfast in your pursuit to bless your family. Perhaps inviting God in to your situation can be exactly the help you need.
Your heart’s intention to Bless Your Family is evident because an article or series like this caught your attention and you are investing your precious time (thank you) to find something to bring more blessing to your most precious relationships (thank you again). You are already in a giving mode – giving your time, your energy, your heart for the benefit of your marriage and family. Generosity is not materialistic. The best gifts are always heartfelt, loving, meaningful, and selfless.
How can you create a “Sweetness Cycle” in your marriage and family? How can you show them more generous love, more grace? Find ways to begin showing your mate and children more of how Grateful you are for them, and just how Generous your love is toward them.
